Hey there, welcome to the about me section of my website. Before we dive in I want you to hang up your coat, put up your feet, pour yourself a nice glass of wine (*if you're over 21) and stay a while because sh*t is about to get personal. If you can't tell by my lengthy and completely unnecessary intro, I'm a New York based actress, VO actress, singer & writer (I mean...do people in LA write intros like this? I didn't think so!)
I'm originally from Warwick, Rhode Island but busted out of that minuscule peninsula. I've been singing obnoxiously loudly in the pews of my mom's church since I was a tot. And at 8 was in my first play and got my first major role: “Elderly Man”. Ugh, type casting, amirite?! Thus began my dynamic career playing geriatrics (*this is actually not a joke).
I earned my BA in Theatre at Boston College where I played many elderly women (and one or two age appropriate ones,) and put my obnoxiously loud voice to use joining an a cappella group.
Since moving to New York I've been creating & collaborating my little* tushy off (*okay, I actually have a huge tushy) . Some highlights from my time here include: completing the two year Acting Program at the William Esper Studio, writing & starring in my first (award winning) short film, developing a passion for raising awareness about and eliminating stigma around eating disorders, writing a series about my journey to eating disorder recovery, and completing the 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training at Kripalu.
I feel most comfortable on sets (or stages) that prioritize diversity both behind and in front of the camera (or stage). On the rare occurrence that I'm not acting or writing you can find me binge watching episodes of Buffy the Vampire Slayer with my cat Ava, or jamming on Zoom with my Dad.
